bond!

hahaa heylooo ppl!

i am back to blogggg about yesterday!

hahaha, yesterday was kind of a neutral day... could have been a very bad day but it could also have been a good day...

k basically i was really enthusiastic cos i was gonna watch james bond!

so at first... i went to skool to train...
sooo my dad vroooom vrooooom me all the way to skool and i was an early bird! was in skool at 7 15 a.m. when training was supposed to start at 8 a.m. hahaha... so i decided to call lavnea and tok to her... i purposely did it cos i knew she was sleeping... hahhaa... and obviously she was pissed... muahahaha... and she thought she could go back to sleep but nooooooo... i ended up talking to her for 30 minutes and she couldn't go back to sleep! hahaha! (sorry...)

hahah so my training started and i was doing my workout well... until i had the last thing to do and that was form sprints... i was supposed to do 6 times of 50m form sprints... but i was doing it when during the second one, i ran and just as i was about to finish i heard (*cluck*cluck*cluck*) i knew i pulled my hamstring... n i was like wtf... not again... i was bloody pissed off and down cos i know it will take f***ing long to recover... and this one was kind of bad, worse than my previous ones... i iced it twicee... then i went back home... my dad was angry wif me for pulling it... lolol... but then, i knew i had to go and watch the movie... honestly, i didn't want to move out of the house... but since it was JAMES BOND, I HAD TO... [ EVA GREEN ;) ]

soooooo i went to Plaza singapura to meet dheesha and jay who were enthusiastic too! i first met dheesha and we decided to go to the arcade to play daytona... i whooped her ass in that for the first race man! hahahaha... then the second one, dheesha being slow, wasn't fast enough to insert her coin and start new game sooo i didn't end up racing wif her but some unknown guy on another seat... and he kept banging me like an idiot... (chinese cannot drive) i always overtook him nicely but he just kept banging me and pushing me away...

then jay was nicely watching us race... hahaha, we didn't noe she had arrived but she knew where we were cos i told her on the phone while playing... hahaha... then we decided to go to the food court (food junction?) to eat lunch... i was starving man... had only a milo in the morning... and i told dheesha before we played in the arcade about it and she told jay that i was pissed wif her for coming soo late cos i was starving and i couldn't eat early cos of her... liar... hahaha...

then i told them about my sji stories... i got loads more... but all equally lame... :P but i love my sji days... those funny moments... all the shit that we went through together hahha... k enough of the flashback...

then we watched james bond! i didn't get the hang of it cos it was quite fast... but EVA GREEN WAS BLOODY HOT! omg! hahaha... however, most of the movie was focussed more on the casino set... i thought bond would be moving around alot and killing moreeee... haha... jay was nicely occupying two seats and we were eating loads of stuff... then after the movie (i didn't like the ending :P) we went to gelare's to eat waffle hahaha... and dheesha was being an idiot tryin to act cool and be james bond... she wants to be a secret agent... then we happily ate and left... i went back home, and realised that my stupid leg was getting worse

kinda swollen at the back... sooo ice again... and then i read and went to sleep... today was kind of boring... i woke up at 11 a.m. lolol... and was chattinggggggg alot... reading... and here i am... blogging! k ppl! good night! sleep tight!

The Hyena

The hyena is a meat-eater that lives in Africa, south of the Sahara Desert, and in parts of the Middle East and Asia. Hyenas live in a variety of habitats, including savannas, dry plains, and brush. They are territorial, social animals that live in large groups called clans. Hyenas have an average life span of 12 years and can live up to 25 years.

When excited, a spotted hyena makes a giggling sound; this animal is often called the laughing hyena. There are many subspecies of hyenas, including the spotted hyena, the brown hyena, the striped hyena, and the aardwolf. The scientific name of the hyena is Crocuta crocuta. These strong runners are more closely related to mongooses and cats than they are to dogs (whom they superficially resemble).

Anatomy: Hyenas have a short, rough coat that is mottled, containing brown, tan and red colors. They have strong shoulders and a sloping back. The nose is black. Male and female hyenas are hard to distinguish because they have similar-looking external reproductive organs. Hyenas weigh from 82 to 190 pounds (37-86 kg). The spotted hyena is about 45 inches (114 cm) long plus a 13 inch (33 cm) tail. Female hyenas give birth to twins after a 3 to 4 month pregnancy.

Diet: Hyenas are primarily meat-eaters; they eat wildebeest (gnu), zebra, gazelle, buffalo, topi, eggs, insects, and fruit. Although they often kill prey, they are also scavengers, eating dead animals that they find. Lions often steal kill from hyenas. Hyenas have powerful jaws and sharp teeth that they use to break open bones so thay they can eat the bone and marrow. They have very strong digestive systems; they can digest bones, teeth, tough skin, and horn! Hyenas can go without water for several days.

i'm back man !

the bastard is finally back... yeheh !

soooo today... i started off my day by going to amk mrt station to meet my ajc frens and our blaekes for soccer match ah... me and jheeva were in the same train and we were like second to kaswin in terms of punctuality ah, which is a good thing! :D:D:D

then slowly, all the other fellas came, and my dear old goutham came too, arriving wif a stupid small dance... hahahah... then finally all of us came and we decided to proceed to the street soccer court cos that guy who was supposed to bring the ball was late and could only meet us there... hahha, sooo we bought some snacks and drinks along the way and then goutham saw the green man on the traffic light blinking, wif three seconds to go! he started running! and then when he realised that no one was running together wif him and when the red light came back on, he ran back to us! hahahahahahah ! idiotttt...

but yeaaa, we walked all the way to the street soccer court... it was a good one ah, but the walls abit short ah haha, but who cares, the game we played was damn freaking shiok siol ! then i had to rush back home at around 12 40 cos i needed to visit my grandparents... gosh... i went back home in like 30 minutes and took a quick shower and took the taxi together wif my family down to teck whye... haha... my grandparents were delighted that we visited them! and grandma served me great food! i ate two servings for lunch! :D:D:D:D then we caught up with our old childhood stories... gosh... i wish i could return to that age... yeaaa... after that we had to leave cos my sis had to go to mediacorp to watch that miss vasantham (hehe... i am gonna tok about that later)

soooooo, we took the cab down and dropped my sister first and i proceeded home... when i switched on the tv set and changed the channel to vasantham central, i saw that they were actually broadcasting anniyan the movie! hahahahahah! omg! sadha damn hot dei! i want to marry her!!! (kk enuff)

then 6 30... MISS VASANTHAM GRAND FINALS (WAAAAAAAAH GRAND SIOL)

hahaa, i was watching it and was wondering how in the blue hell dracula got into the last eight... aiyoooo... so i watched it... the q & a session was not bad... REVATHI DID WELL ! and this fazilah screwed up... felt bad for her...

then me and anisha were like sms-ing, and i was saying that i am supporting revathi and fazilah and she said she was supporting fazilah and indra... in the end, the gals whom we supported got into the final three! hahaha... then i was supporting revathi all the way! but she got third! i was like wth !!! and then the champion was indra! like wtf! moonju abit sodzzz... wat nonsense win first... but she was confident ah... but still... dunno wat was wrong wif revathi ah... she was good wad... aiyoooo... never mind... The Peafowl(Peacock and Peahen)

Peafowl (Pavo cristatus) are beautiful birds that are native to India and Sri Lanka. The male peafowl is called a peacock; the female peafowl is called a peahen. In the wild, they live in deciduous tropical rainforests. These magnificent birds do not migrate. A group of peafowl is called a muster or an ostentation.

Anatomy: The male peafowl (called the peacock) is about 84 inches (2.1 m) long. The female (called the peahen) is about 34 inches (0.85 m) long. Both have a fan-shaped crest on the head. The peacock has a long, brilliantly-colored train of feathers that grow from its shimmering blue back. He can raise the train of feathers, forming a stunning display. The peahen does not have a train; her plumage is brown, white, and black.

Diet: Peafowl eat seeds, fruit, other plant material, and some small animals (like mice and insects).

Nest and Eggs: Peafowl build shallow nests made of sticks, leaves, and grass. Nests are usually located in the undergrowth of the rainforest.

Stevoooo, i will miss u forever...

heyloooo people... i will not be blogging until promotional exams finish, sooo yea...
and a few days ago, we heard about the passing away of one of the finest man on the planet and a great naturalist, Steve Irwin a.k.a The Crocodile Hunter.

He was a major reason why i love animals so much... I grew up watching his documentaries and every single documentary was very entertaining, full of excitement... I learnt alot from this guy... A true hero himself... contributed sooo much to wildlife conservation... Protecting animals even in countries outside Australia... His education has spurred on many others to be involved in wildlife conservation... Many people would want him around, to watch more of his new documentaries, but sadly, their wishes cannot come true... This blog entry is a tribute to Steve Irwin, like him or not, you got to give him the respect that he deserves, every single time, risking his life to educate us about animals and eventually, got killed while doing so... Our sorrow and grief go out to his family, his wife Terri, daughter Bindi and son, Bob... Rest in peace, stevo... :'(

Stephen Robert Irwin (22 February 1962 — 4 September 2006), nicknamed "the Crocodile Hunter," was an Australian naturalist and television personality, best known for the television program The Crocodile Hunter, an internationally-broadcast wildlife documentary co-hosted with his wife Terri Irwin. The Irwins owned and operated Australia Zoo in Beerwah, Queensland.

Shortly after 11:00 a.m. AEST (01:00 UTC) on 4 September 2006, Irwin was fatally pierced in the chest by a stingray barb while snorkelling at the Great Barrier Reef, at Batt Reef, which is located off the coast of Port Douglas in Queensland. Irwin was in the area filming his own documentary, to be called The Ocean's Deadliest, but weather had stalled filming. Irwin decided to take the opportunity to film some shallow water shots for a segment in the television program his daughter Bindi was hosting, when, according to his friend and colleague, John Stainton, he swam too close to one of the animals. "He came on top of the stingray and the stingray's barb went up and into his chest and put a hole into his heart," said Stainton, who was on board Irwin's boat the Croc One.

The events were caught on camera, and a copy of the footage was handed to the Queensland Police. After reviewing the footage of the incident and speaking to the cameraman who recorded it, marine documentary filmmaker and former spearfisherman Ben Cropp speculated that the stingray "felt threatened because Steve was alongside and there was the cameraman ahead." In such a case, the stingray responds to "danger from above" by automatically flexing the serrated barb on its tail (which can measure up to 25cm in length) in an upward motion.

Cropp said Irwin had accidentally boxed in the animal. "It stopped and twisted and threw up its tail with the spike, and it caught him in the chest. It's a defensive thing. It's like being stabbed with a dirty dagger." The stinging of Irwin by the bull ray was "a one-in-a-million thing," Cropp told Time magazine. "I have swum with many rays, and I have only had one do that to me."
Some reports have claimed that immediately after being stabbed, Irwin pulled the barb out before losing consciousness a short time later. Irwin's colleague John Stainton originally confirmed this account, but he later denied it in an interview on CNN. It is thought, in the absence of a coroner's report, that a combination of the toxins and the puncture wound from the barb caused Irwin to die of cardiac arrest, with most damage being inflicted by tears to arteries or other main blood vessels. It is also possible that he died quickly as a result of a punctured aorta. Until the coroner's report is released, however, the precise cause of Irwin's death remains conjecture.

Crew members aboard his boat called the emergency services in the nearest city of Cairns and administered CPR as they rushed the boat to nearby the Low Islets to meet a rescue helicopter. Medical staff pronounced Irwin dead when they arrived a short time later. According to Dr. Ed O'Loughlin, who treated Irwin, "it became clear fairly soon that he had non-survivable injuries. . . . He had a penetrating injury to the left front of his chest. He had lost his pulse and wasn't breathing."

Irwin's body was flown to a morgue in Cairns. His wife, Terri Irwin, was on a walking tour in Cradle Mountain-Lake St Clair National Park in Tasmania at the time, and returned via a private plane from Devonport to the Sunshine Coast with their two children.
As of 1996, only seventeen worldwide fatalities had been recorded due to stingrays, and the attack on Irwin is believed to be the only fatality from a stingray ever captured on film.
In episode one of the Crocodile Hunter series ("Steve's Story"), Irwin is quoted as emphatically stating:

"The one thing I would want to be remembered for is passion and enthusiasm. Conservation is my life, my job, my whole persona."

SAAAAAAAAATURDAAAAAY

hahaha... today was a blardie boring dayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy... aiyooo...

woke up today to go to skool for PW meeting wif jai singh...
woke up like 8 a.m. supposed to be in skool at around 9 am :P

but i didn't rush or anything... i had a feeling my group would meet her late... soooo i was like slowly going to skool... haha... smsing my dear frens in the train and all... so a bunch of hot gals in the train but i did not look at them too long due to my EXTREMELY HUGE egooooo :D

then i reached bishan mrt station... SCREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEECH... haha... then i was on my usual lonely walk to skool... i finally reached skool and went to the third floor where my PW group together wif other PW groups were waiting to meet jai singh... lol... it was when i reached there that ralph told all my classmates there that jai singh didn't read our written reports... everyone was like wth!!!

haha, but nonetheless we waited and waited... one hour passed... two hours passed... haha... but i was using aik kwan's chem notes i believe, to muggg chem...

haha finally it was our turn and she was really nice to us today when toking to us... haha

then it finished after like 20 minutes and me and prabs decided to go to little india ! we tried to call jheeva but that cock didn't bother picking up his phone... so we msged him but he nvr reply oso... haha... so me and prabs went on a date to BANANA LEAF APOLLO ! :D

but we hang around in j8 for a while then took mrt down to little india... over there, we proceeded to little india arcade where the restaurant was... i ordered mutton dum briyani and prabs had chicken dum briyani! haha and we had two cokes too... the total cost was like $19. 95 and we had exactly $20... haha waaaaaaaaaaah... tok about living life on the edge ahh... haha then just when we ordered our food a cock by the name of jheeva msged me... it said he might come and join us... i called him back and told him we just ordered our food... haha.. and he was like hey! i can be there in like one hour's time... then i told him to like bring some money and he was like i dun have money dei !!! idiot ! he was at home and he said he got no money... wat bullshit... then he dared to say that prabs owe him $1.50... idiot...

haha... then we just continued eating and then i received a message from jheeva that he might not be coming... just might drop by... i was damn happy ! lolol ! jk jk... haha... sooo we finished eating and we left... prabs asked me to blog about him sooo here it is...

PRABS : my very close classmate in class... haha, where else ah... toilet ah :P and he is always there to say lame jokes and make me luff at his lameness hahaha... sorry dei... u damn lameness god ah :P *bows downnnnn* haha then recently this idiot, everytime in chem lesson, for some reason when my teacher asks question, this fella just says the answer HCl(hydrogen chloride) and he is right ! on wednesday he said it like 6 times and he got all right lar ! hahahaaaaaa... damn funny dei... k i shall not be another manpreet over here retardedly swinging arms around all :P jk jk... haha... haha... basically he is a nice guy most of the times :P but he tends to get emo sometimes... dun worry dei... cheer up and yenjai life like we all should be doing ! haha... i loweeeeeeeee u too ! hahaha... got much more but i wun be boasting about the oxygen i breathe would i ? :P haha, jk jk... shall see u with a happy face in skool man ! :D

haha yeaa... then i got back home and was greeted by my grandparents ! woooohoooooo ! they came to like visit my family... haha... but it's sad to see my grandfather having difficulties moving around... i had to help him alot... i went to sleep ! and then woke up at around 6 pm... my dad came back from work and he was having a serious backache... like real serious... so i massaged him for like 30 minutes! he liked it and he thanked me ! WOOOOOOOOHOOOOOO! said i was really good! haha... then i was doing bio summary until it was time for my grandparents to leave... i followed them down and send them off... came back up to massage my dad's back again!

haha... after i massaged, my mum asked my dad to gimme money cos only then, it is believed that his back will get better... my dad gimme twenty cents! wooohooooooo! my first earning :D hahaa... and now i am blogging nicely... and i shall update a nice animal of the day for a special special person ! muahahaha... The Seahorse

Seahorses are a type of small fish that have armored plates all over their body (they don't have scales). There are about 50 different species of seahorses around the world. They live in seaweed beds in warm water and are very slow swimmers. Seahorses can change their color to camouflage (hide) themselves in order to hide from enemies. The most unusual seahorse is the Australian sea horse, which has leaf-like camouflage all over its body, making it almost disappear in the seaweed bed.

Anatomy: Seahorses have a long, horse-like head (hence their name) and a curled tail. Seahorses range in size from under a centimeter long (Pygmy Seahorses) to about 1 foot (30 cm) long.

Reproduction: The female seahorse produces eggs, but they are held inside the male's body until they hatch; he is pregnant for about 40 to 50 days. The sea horse is the only animal in which the father is pregnant.
